Introduction
Vermont has adopted comprehensive mercury management legislation that includes packaging and labeling requirements that impact the electronics industry. The Comprehensive Mercury Management Act, 10 V.S.A. § 7106, was recently amended by Senate Bill 82 (2007 Vt. ALS 63) to adjust the implementation date of certain labeling requirements.
A discussion of labeling requirements specific to batteries is available at the EIATRACK web page for Batteries in Vermont.
