European Council’s Session on Packaging and Packaging WasteOctober 31, 2002 European Union - Packaging and LabelingOn October 17, 2002, the European Council Ministers came to a political agreement on the proposed amendments of Directive 62/94 on packaging and packaging waste. Once the text has been revised and agreed, the Council will adopt a common position, which will be transmitted to the Parliament for a second reading.
