Update: Argentina and WEEE InitiativesJune 16, 2008 Argentina - Product Take-BackSeveral recent events in Argentina point toward the growing likelihood of a national WEEE initiative – either regulatory, legislative or both. As evidenced by EIATRACK reports over the last several years, various WEEE proposals have been proposed in Argentina already. However, the pace of developments appears to be quickening and interested parties may wish to seek opportunities in-country to become involved in either process in order to impact future laws and regulations. Below is a review of the latest agency and Congressional actions.
